AAIS has been a forerunner in open architecture investment solutions and sub-advisory since 1998. AAIS provides access to a broad range of investment strategies of best-in-class and specialist boutiques, covering all asset classes.
AAIS has 90+ employees and offices in France, the Netherlands and Germany.
Business Development team
AAIS’ growth engine is its Business Development team led by its Chief Commercial Officer. The team is organised across 3 key pillars: Internal Channels, Third-Party Distribution & Solutions Sales. These 3 pillars are supported by Client Servicing, RFP and Marketing teams.
Your job
As a senior relationship manager (Amsterdam based) you will get the opportunity to lead the realisation of AAIS’ growth ambitions. Focus will be on:
- Representing AAIS in ABN AMRO’s Wealth Management & Personal Banking franchises in the Netherlands and Belgium, and externally
- Establishing a positive relationship with our clients, fostering connectivity and building a deep understanding of their organization and investment offering
- Creating and executing a strategic account plan
- Delivering input for overall strategy and monitoring of market developments that might impact either AAIS or ABN AMRO Bank
- Delivering a service proposition that exceeds expectations through proactive engagement, presentations and trainings
- Partnering with colleagues and functions across ABN AMRO to serve our clients’ needs in the best possible way, continuously aiming to improve the client experience
Working environment
The relationship managers in the Internal Channels team cover ABN AMRO Wealth Management & Personal Banking in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. They report to the Head of Internal Channels and are ambassadors of AAIS, building the bridge between AAIS, the ABN AMRO head office and the local sales organisations.
Your profile
You are a true team player with strong communicative and relationship building skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You like to take ownership and lead the way in a complex and international environment. You also like to collaborate with other teams across AAIS and the bank and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Check your profile:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience at an international Asset Management firm
- Excellent client management, consultative selling and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand complex investment solutions and associated operating models
- Thorough understanding of investing in a Wealth Management & Personal Banking context and the key activities required to service ABN AMRO Bank
- Proficiency in strategic account planning, setting objectives, translating in concrete milestones and sub-deliverables and executing accordingly
- Good understanding of the regulatory asset management landscape and how it impacts our internal clients
- High inter-cultural sensitivity and organisational awareness
- Willingness to regularly travel to our Paris office
- Fluent in Dutch & English
We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
- An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
