Senior Legal Counsel

What you will do

•    Advising the business on financial law matters including but not limited to the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wft) and relevant European financial law;
•    Advising the company on regulatory issues relevant to the company and its European operations;
•    Reassuring that our services and related agreements are all up-to-date and comply with the relevant laws and regulations;
•    Reviewing, drafting and negotiating various types of (international) contracts and related documents
•    Monitoring of legal and regulatory developments which are of relevance for the company;
•    Carrying out research on legal and regulatory developments;
•    Maintaining current relationship/develop new relationship with external advisors, other relevant external parties;
•    Management of contracts, corporate documents and other relevant documentation;

Requirements

•    Master Degree in law (knowledge of Dutch and EU financial law) 
•    At least 5 years of working experience preferable in a law firm or as in house lawyer in the financial industry
•    Excellent command of the English is essential
•    Enthusiastic team-player with a pragmatic committed approach and international outlook
•    Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Self-motivated and independent team player
•    Attention to detail
