Value Delivery Team Basel is looking for Product Owner with Regulatory Knowledge & Experience in Credit risk RWA Calculations. This team is responsible for CR RWA Implementation. The vacant positions offer opportunities to develop yourself as a well-rounded credit risk implementation expert in the heart of the Bank with a special focus on the CRD/CRR framework.

As the Product Owner Credit Risk Implementation within the Basel Chain, you manage the planning as well as the execution of credit risk regulatory requirements. 

Your job

As the Product Owner you are responsible for:

  • End-to-end responsibility for Planning, Change, Run and Control activities (regulation, operations & budget) 
  • Developing the vision and roadmap for Basel in cooperation with the Basel Business Lead and Expert lead VDT Basel.
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders of Finance, Risk, Business and Operational Risk Management (ORM) in order to ensure effective collection of requirements.
  • Actively seeking solutions relating to the improvement and development in the Basel domain.
  • Provide transparent, timely and accurate management updates on planning, progress and dependencies

Together with your team, you are the experts on data requirements & implementation of CR RWA Calculations. You reach your objectives by bringing your Managerial and Regulatory expertise and pursuing active cooperation with professionals from business and IT, contributing to the continuous improvement of Basel compliance.

Working environment

You operate within the Finance & Risk Business GRIDs (FRBG). You become part of the Value Delivery Team Basel, responsible for CR RWA Implementation. We help you develop yourself both professionally and as a person. The position offer opportunities to develop yourself as a well-rounded credit risk implementation expert.

Your profile

  • Education at academic level: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business administration or comparable level;
  • Experience with interacting with various stakeholders across departments in the bank and with senior management;
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliancy requirements, Basel regulations, prudential reporting and/or RWA calculation, IFRS regulation and 8-12 years working experience in a banking environment;
  • Experience and knowledge of SAS Regulatory Capital Management is added bonus;
  • Experience with managing a team of knowledge driven staff. Encourages and empowers teams.
  • Excellent communications skills, especially in writing (fluency in English is required);

We offer

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
