How you will make a difference

You will help us to ‘finance change to change finance’, by investing in companies which have transformational potential and by guiding these companies in their development towards a profitable and scalable business.

As a part of your key responsibilities:

• You will create visibility in the market to attract / generate new leads in early-stage sustainable impact Investments (start-ups and scale-ups) in Europe
• You will assess pitch decks and business plans and select prospects in line with the investment strategy and the fund’s risk appetite, perform due diligence, write investment proposals, and bring them successfully to our investment committee
• You will structure and negotiate all aspects of transactions, including the preparation of investment and legal documentation
• You will monitor and manage our equity / loan investment portfolio, assessing amongst others the financial and impact performances of the investees, as well as performing follow-on Investments
• You will prepare reviews, valuations and loan provisioning documentation
• You will provide input for the board meetings / investment committees
• You will provide input to the investment strategy for TRMC
• You will represent TRMC in- & outside Triodos

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

• extensive experience in a similar position, preferably in an impact investment area
• preferably relevant experience or network in Agrofood and Nature Based Solutions
• willingness to travel (within Europe)

Your future colleagues

You will be part of a team of 6 Investment Managers for catalytic investments and you will report to the Managing Director of TRMC. As investment manager you will closely work together with the fund manager, the team lead TRMC Services and the internal account managers.
