ABN AMRO Wealth Management focuses on Private Banking-, Affluent- and Consumer clients. Our goal is to protect their wealth, structure it, and ensure it grows safely and sustainably. The Product Unit Wealth operates within ABN AMRO Wealth Management and focuses on developing responsible and sustainable investment products to grow long-term wealth for the client segments we serve. The Product Unit Wealth operates internationally in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany. The Product Unit Wealth includes:

Global Investment Centre: Responsible for investment performance in Discretionary and Advisory services, with expertise in equities, fixed income, asset allocation, communications, and funds.
Grid Wealth: Manages the range of available products, develops new products based on client needs, and improves existing products.
Product Management & Control and Specialized Sales: Handles product management, commercial responsibilities, and 1st Line of Defense control capabilities.

The Fund Centre is part of the Global Investment Centre and works closely with ABN AMRO Investment Solutions, the Paris based asset management company of the Group that is responsible for fund selection. The Fund Centre head office team currently includes 4 Senior Fund Advisors, 4 employees of ABN AMRO Investment Solutions, and a team manager. It specializes in managing fund-based model portfolios for Wealth Management, the Consumer and Affluent segment. The team works extensively with UCITS and ETFs. With these funds, the team covers a variety of asset classes, including equities, bonds, money market instruments and alternatives. We combine active and passive investments.

Your job

Support managing fund-based model portfolios for the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) and Advisory service concepts.
Jointly coordinate the fund pipeline between the bank and ABN AMRO Investment Solutions.
Develop products with external asset managers and other stakeholders in ABN AMRO (Retail banking, pension solutions, etc.).
Coordinate with local fund specialists in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France.
Contribute to projects to facilitate changes in service concepts with the Change organization.
Perform or contribute to product reviews for our Global Product Approval Committee.
Maintain relations with external asset managers and monitor pricing.

Working environment

The jobholder operates in an international environment (France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands) and considers clients’ needs when developing fund propositions. The Fund Advisor role covers the entire product life cycle: idea generation, product development, product approval, policy definition, product risk management, product sourcing and execution, managing fee schedules, client and advisor education, and managing fund-based model portfolios. English is the primary language used within the team and network.

Your profile

We are looking for the following characteristics:

Knowledge of investment funds and ETFs, including different asset classes, asset managers, and fund structures (SICAV, FGR, FCP, etc.).
A strong background in finance through education or experience.
Experience with risk awareness in various risk fields such as Market Risk, Operational Risk, etc.
Project management skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
Experience in working with datasets is a plus (e.g. PowerBI).
Experience with portfolio management or fund analysis is a plus.

We are offering

The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
