As a Front-end Engineer in the IT department of Inkomen Collectief, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for our web applications for intermediaries and direct employers. You will work alongside our empowered product teams to create new solutions and simplify existing ones, ensuring our products are future-ready. What you are going to do
- You design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications, while following an API-first approach
- You participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers and collaborate through pair programming to ensure code quality and consistency
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to identify and prioritize features and functionality
- You create and maintain architectural design and technical documentation to support the development process and ensure effective knowledge transfer
- You continuously research and learn new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve the development process and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Who you are
- You know how to work in an Agile environment where collaboration, and continuous improvements are the foundations. Additionally you possess:
- 6+ years of experience working as a Front-end / Full-stack Engineer
- Extensive expertise in React
- Strong proficiency in Typescript
- Proven experience in frontend and API testing using Playwright and other frameworks
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
- Experience with CSS in JS, with familiarity in Material UI preferred
- Experience with NodeJS, with some familiarity with NestJS preferred
- Good understanding of Docker
- Experience with back-end development would be a plus
