As a Business Controller Retail Tech NL you play an essential role in helping to improve the performance of the CITO and the Retail NL domain. You will be responsible for one or more departments within CITO Retail Tech NL. CITO is responsible for all tech en data of the Rabobank. CITO’s ambition is to assure Rabobank to be a rock-solid and innovative technology-driven cooperative bank. Rock-solid means running the bank of today stable, secure, and at the right cost level. Innovative applies to the responsibility to drive the innovation and (digital)transformation agenda of the bank with state-of-the-art technology and data & analytics capabilities.
As a business controller you are continuously looking for opportunities to improve the performance. Next to that CFO&CITO are always committed to deliver transparency on the IT Cost and IT Value and to increase to influenceability accordingly. As a controller you work with the management team of Retail Tech NL, the leadership of Retail Value streams and the other CITO Control colleagues.
Your proactive and forward-looking analysis leads to new decision making enabling significant improvement in business results. You achieve this by providing new insights as Business Controller and acting as sparring partner with various stakeholders. Challenge when necessary and contribute with impact! As a Business Controller at Rabobank, you play a pivotal role in the core of the technical hart of the bank.

Customer focus, communication power, personal development and realizing results are clearly essential for the role of Business Controller in the CITO domain. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:
- You have a HBO + / WO diploma with a numerical or strategic focus;
- You are an expert in finance and control (s.a. Basel IV and IFRS 9) and understand the impact of legislation on the business;
- You are a sparring partner on financial and strategic matters, you are open and transparent, able to challenge the business and supporting units to reach Rabobank’s goals and results;
- You love to work with Tech people and understand they way of working of a Tech division.
- You are able to solve complexities, review reports and provide feedback;
- You combine an excellent analytical skill set with good social and communication skills;
- You are result orientated and have stakeholder focus;
- Proven track record of consistently reviewing and improving the Tech delivery to maximise the banks rock solid ambitions.
- Proven track record with execution power, the S@S way of working, steering on operational excellence and inspirational leadership.
- You have a high level of “learning agility”; the agility to convert new situations and changes into effective behaviour;
- You are an independently operating professional who works well together and is always looking for opportunities for improvement.
- Proficiency in the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
